\nThe book has been made downloadable in PDF form in return for a contribution to the Syria Crisis Appeal, and contains a selection of dishes from the Levant, including regional favourites like hummus and baba ghanoush, illustrated with photographs from the streets and markets of Damascus taken in happier times.
