Along with a number of other innocuous domestic objects, I associated the bread bin with the stifling atmosphere of small houses in a small town, far from where real life was taking place.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve mellowed a little bit since then, and I can afford to feel more relaxed about things like bread bins.
